The Great Falls Association of REALTORS® (GFAR) is an association located in Great Falls, Montana, and serves just under 400 REALTOR® members. GFAR is one of six owners of the Montana Regional MLS.
GFAR members are also members of the Montana REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. GFAR offers a variety of services and is focused on member professionalism; is engaged in and connected to the Great Falls community, and is at the forefront of real estate industry issues impacting the Great Falls area, as the Voice for Real Estate ® in Great Falls, MT.
The ideal candidate:
Is a business executive with skills in all key competencies of a non-profit organization, including administration, operations, finances; staff management; local government advocacy; community relations, education development; strategic and business planning, and volunteer relations.
Must be a good team and relationship builder with members, volunteers, staff, and the community.
Possess strong character traits that include being member-focused, adaptable, demonstrating initiative, detail-oriented and organized, and enthusiastic and positive.
General business management and/or general association management experience is strongly preferred. REALTOR® association management experience and REALTOR® association relations are a plus.
A minimum of 6 -10 years of executive or senior-management level business experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in staff supervision is required.
A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and executive experience) is required.
A RCE or CAE designation, and/or other relevant leadership certifications and designations are preferred.
